I am having a problem with using the XCeed Grid on VS2005 Beta 2 and using Visual Inheritance in the Designer. I have downloaded the latest version of the Grid (2.5.530x).
If I create a form, add a grid control, and save it, that form is fine. If I then create an inherited form, and inherit from the first form, and try to open the second form in the designer, I get the following error:
An Exception occurred while trying to update the data smart tasks, they will be disabled.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
If I then move my cursor over the grid object, I receive additional errors.
Just wondering if anybody has tried this on the Beta2 install of Visual Studio, and if they are having the same issues.
Thanks,
Mark
