I am trying to create an algorithm using the System.Security.Cryptography.RijndaelManaged class that can decrypt values encrypted using the Xceed Encryption library’s implementation of Rijndael. So far I’ve been flummoxed. Is this even possible? It seems to me the problem involves matching the encryption key on the .NET object to the results from the SetSecretKeyFromPassPhase method in Xceed.

I know the passphrase; any idea how I can get the hashed secret key to set as a byte array key on .NET?

<a href=”http://www.xceedsoft.com/cs/download/XceedEncryption/CSharp/RSAInteroperability.zip”>Here</a&gt; is a sample showing the interoperability between Xceed Encryption Library and the .NET Cryptography classes. Note that this sample uses RSA encryption, but it should give you want you need to do the same with the Rijndael encryption.
