I just tried to use DatePicker in the grid. However, the picker doesn’t work naturally. It seems not to accept “/” when you typing it. I would like to type “1/” and then it will skip to the date part. Is it possible to achieve something like that?

Inputing the “separator” character is not possible at the moment with the default DatePicker`s ControlTemplate.
That being said, you can redo the template to accommodate your need.
Originally, we did not publish the DatePicker styles and templates (as we did with the Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid assembly ), so you will need to use a tool such as “Style Snooper” or Reflector (with the BAML disassembler add-on) to reverse engineer the template.
Note: I can give you the hint that what you would need to replace is the “DateInputScope” and what is nested below it.
