How do I insert a separator (line) item in a WinComboBox similar to the separator item in a menu?
The Office Accounting 2007 software has comboboxes with a separator line after the first item in the dropdown list.
If the combobox populates list of customers, the first item would usually read “Add a new customer…” below which there is a separator line, followed by the list of customers.

There is no “separator” included with our WinComboBox editor (nor there is with the System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox). However, you can override the “paint” job to draw a separator.
To achieve, you will need to:
-Do some custom <a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/Xceedgrid/Custom_painting.html”>painting</a>
-<a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/Xceedgrid/Extending.html”>Extend</a> the <a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/Xceedgrid/Xceed.Grid~Xceed.Editors.WinComboBox.html”>WinComboBox</a> Class
You can use this <a href=” http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/SeparatorComboListBox.asp “>sample</a> to get you started
