    Question:

We want to creat a .EXE (self extractor file), but when we try to open the file it gives a dialogue box to enter destination path to extract the files.
How to enable silent mode for self extract exe?

    Answer:

You can enable silent mode by setting each dialog message of the XceedSfxPrefix.DialogMessages property to an empty string.
You will find the full method and advice in the “Remarks” section of the DialogMessages property documentation page:
    http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/XceedFileSystem/#topic8373.html

“If each dialog message is set to an empty string, the resulting self-extracting zip file will never display any dialog or message boxes on screen, nor prompt the user for passwords, new disks or file replace conditions. In this case it is also suggested that you remove all button captions and dialog strings by setting the each item in the ButtonCaptions and DialogStrings properties to an empty string.”
