    I realize that whenever I open a form with a grid, the first row is always selected by default. And I want to de-select it by clicking somewhere else, however, I could not make the row not selected. Is there a way I can change this setting? I don’t want a row be selected by default when I open the form/grid, and I want to be able to de-select it when I place the focus to somewhere else.

    Thanks a lot.

    grid.SelectedRows.Clear();

    In some cases, you may also want to call gridControl1.CurrentRow = null;
