    I’m currently evaluated the latest version of Xceed FTP for .NET. I created a simple routine to get files from our iSeries server. I was able to receive files for a couple of days. However, now when I get the same files. The files appear to be encoded. Is this by decision from the evalution version or is this some setup issue with the code or the iSeries server?

    private void GetFileFromServer(string filefilter)
    {
    // If your trial period has expired, you must purchase a registered license key,

    // uncomment the next line of code, and insert your registerd license key.

    // For more information, jump to the How the 45-day trial works and the

    // How to license the component once you purchase topics.

    //Xceed.Ftp.Licenser.LicenseKey = “FTNXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX”;

    FtpClient ftp = new FtpClient();

    http://ftp.Connect(iSeriesServer);

    http://ftp.Login(“user”,”password”);

    http://ftp.ChangeCurrentFolder(“files”);

    http://ftp.Timeout = 300;

    FtpItemInfoList items = http://ftp.GetFolderContents(filefilter);

    foreach (FtpItemInfo item in items)
    {

    if(item.Name.Contains(filefilter))
    http://ftp.ReceiveFile(item.Name,@”C:\Data\” + item.Name);

    }

    http://ftp.Disconnect();

    this.LabelProgress.Text = “File downloaded!!!”;

    }

    The trial version does not cause such behavior. It’s only a time-limited version. I see nothing wrong in your code. You should check your server.
