I hav a column defined with FieldName=”Values”, where Values is of type List<int>. Everything works well, except the fact that when I try to enter an invalid value, my input gets discarded and the original value (before starting to edit) is displayed again.
In other words: The CellErrorStyle does not get applied.
Do you think this is a bug, or is my sample out-of-spec? Is there a work-around other than creating helper properties with implicit indexing (which is not an option, since the the number of columns is not known in advance)?

I did some further testing and implemented an explicit CellValidationRule. Interestingly, the “value” parameter of the Validate method is of type *int* when I enter a valid numeric string, but it is of type *string* when the user input was not valid. How to explan this?
