    we are evaluating Xceed grid for our trading applications.. as a first step installed the xceed grid .net and dropped a grid on windows form designer.. also associated the underlying datatable..

    the one thing i am not able to locate is to how do i do individual column customization.. for example when i bound the grid to datatable automatically the columns are picked up .. but in designer widnow i want to arragne the column order and individually change their properties…

    If you put the mouse cursor on the header of a column, 2 little icons will appear in the upper left corner. Click the left icon to select the column. Then you can edit the properties. To move a column, just drag the header of the column to a new position.

    i tried draging column header.. but it doesn’t work.. unless i am donig somethign wrong over here… but that was my first attempt to change the column ordering … to be precise i am doing it in form designer……
