    I’m getting an error when trying to unzip a file that isn’t a zip file.  The error I get is..

    System.ArgumentNullException

    Xceed.Zip.ZippedFolder.Finalize

    Value cannot be null\r\n Parameter name:handler

    ParamName = handler

    Is there a way to avoid this error.  Is there some way I can test a file is a zip file prior to attempting to unzip it?

    No, the Xceed Zip for .NET does not have a method to test if a file is a Zip file or not. You can probably use the exception thrown when trying to unzip a non zip file as a workaround for the desired test.
