How is it possible to send a Xceed.Compression over WebService.
I do not think it is possible to send it as it is, as a Byte().

    Suggestions?

    Hello Benjamin.

If your web service method returns a “byte[]”, I think it will automatically be encoded in base64 in the XML response.

We also have a GZipSoapExtension sample in the works. It compresses and decompresses the XML request and response automatically. This is great when you have full control on both ends (client and server). You can send an email to <mail>support@xceedsoft.com</mail> to receive a copy.

    Hello janderton.

Did you finally get an answer? Technical support usually respond within 4 (business) <b>hours</b>. If you didn’t get any answer, it probably means your email didn’t get through.
