    Hi I’m sure this has been answered before, so please point me in the right direction.

    I’ve just started playing with the DataGrid and i have it displaying a Generic List data type. But when inserting a row i get an Exception “An attempt was made to add a new data item to a source that does not support insertion.” When i try to bind a DataTable i get an exception, because a DataTable does not Implement the IEnumerable interface.

    So i wrote a simple wrapper for a Datarow collection that implements the IEnumerable Interface Which doesn’t throw any exceptions but also doesn’t display and rows.

    So a simple Tutorial on DataBinding as i found the example in the Documentation uses A DataTable that doesn’t work for me.

    Cheers

    Alan

    DefaultView

    of Course… I have it working Now.

    I think you should change ms-help://Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid/Documentation/Providing%20Data.html

    Should read : m_orders = dataSet.Tables[ “Orders” ].DefaultView;

    And the same in VB.Net

    sweet
