    Hi All,

I am new to Xceed DataGrid. I need to implement a hierarchical data representation just like that comes in “QuickWatch” of the Visual Studio in the debug mode.

    Requirement in brief:

    Column1 Column2 Column3 Column4
    A 1 2 3
    B 4 6
    C 9 7
    E 1 3 5
    F 8 6 5

The tree should come under only first column. But, I should be able to associate the values for the rest of the columns for any nodes in the tree.

It will be great help if someone can guide me regarding how to do this.

Are you using the Grid for .NET or the DataGrid for WPF?

If you are using the Grid for .NET, it does not implement a TreeView under only 1 column.

You could use the <a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/XceedSmartUI/Using_the_SmartTreeView_SmartControl.html”>TreeView</a&gt; from our SmartUI product. It should meet your requirements.

How special is SmartTreeView from the standard TreeView?

My Requirement is: A DataGrid with a common TreeView for the first Column. It is just like Visual Studio QuickWatch like TreeGrid.

    Ex:

    If I have 3 Columns, say, C1, C2 and C3

A TreeView will be display under C1. Each Tree nodes under C1 can contain some values for its corresponding C2 and C3.

If you could throw some light on how to achieve this using your SmartTreeView, it will be of great help.

This requirement is not supported by the SmartTreeView nor it is by our GridControl for WinForms.
