    I am attempting to drag the GridControl onto my form and am receiving an exception:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The type initializer for “Xceed.Grid.Design.GridControlEditor” threw an exception.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I am also unable to run the grid examples, including the arkanoid game. I receive an unhandled exception:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    An unhandled exception of type ‘System.Exception’ occurred in xceed.grid.uistyle.dll
    Additional information: Unable to load the theme library.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I’m not sure how to correct, can anyone provide some insight? I’m running VS2k3 Enterprise Architect, v1.1 of the framework on w2k3 Server Enterprise.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Please disregard- issue resolved- I was using version 2.0.100.0, and just applied the patch to upgrade to 2.0.101.0 which resolved the issue. I’m now able to manipulate the grid on the designer and run the examples.

    Why are there no release notes for the Grid v. 2.0.101.0 at
    http://www.xceedsoft.com/Download/ReleaseNotes.htm#GridNet ?

    Hi C#,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will ask the tech support department to update the page as soon as possible.
