I’m sure this has been asked before, but a cursory search of the forum turned up nothing. Can someone please post a snippet for using type-ahead to “jump” to a specific row based upon matching user’s typed input with a particular column?

For example: In a grid containing software companies, typing “Xc…” would jump to the row where “Xceedsoft” was listed in the first column (with maybe websites or contact info in other columns).

    Thank you very much.

In my case I can assume only one column and that it is sorted. I could just spin through the DataRows and text match, but I was hoping for a more performant method as my app uses a lot of DataRows.

    Thanks
