Is the treeview control fast now? I have an application that loads thousands of nodes from large files. Right now i’m using the standard forms treeview with vs2003 but I’m considering moving this to the xceed one but if performance etc is still a big issue I’m not going to do so. What is the latest on the treeview?

    Thanks

It has been optimized and is faster, but its still essentially exponential O(n^2) algorithm handling the nodes… so thousands of nodes will be too slow. Basically it has gone from being able to reasonably handle up to 500 nodes, to 1000 nodes.
