Is there any way to show the text in a disabled WinComboBox using default black font?

When I disable the control, then the text color changes to light grey. This is, what I would like to avoid.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is not possible. You need to understand that it is a regular .NET TextBox that is under the WinComboBox.TextBoxArea. The TextBox bypasses the color settings when disabled. That’s the way it is.
