Hi,

I have been given a prototype design from our UI Designer, and would like to know if the XCeed grid is capable of supporting it. (Apologies if this is a repost – I cannot find my previous post on this subject).

The requirement is to have a grid containing rows with two levels. Each row effectively has a column name, and then a series of values on two levels – the top level containing the old values and the bottom row containing the new values. Another way to imagine it is to think of two rows, where Row1 Column1 is merged with Row2 Column 1.

I have tried to illustrate this below:

————————-
xxxxx|Col2|Col3|Col4
Col1|—————–
xxxxx|Col5|Col6|Col7
————————-

Note that Col1 is vertically middle-justified between the two levels. Also ‘xxxxx’ represents blank space.

The above represents one single row.

So – is this achievable? Any ideas are much appreciated.

Regards,
Russell

There is not any way of “splitting” rows. You could take a look a some merged cells sample, but I’m not sure it’s exactly what you had in mind.
