Every time I run my project, I get the following error when I open the form with the grid on it:

The type initializer for “Xceed.Grid.GridControl” threw an exception. —> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name Xceed.Grid.UIStyle, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
    File name: “Xceed.Grid.UIStyle”

Every time I open the project in VB.NET, I get this error:

The dependency ‘Xceed.Grid.UIStyle’ could not be found.

    I have to remove and re-reference xceed.grid and xceed.ui!

I have completely uninstalled (including a registry scan) and reinstalled XCEED three times now. And this won’t stop happening.

I have had this problem ever since I upgraded to Grid 2.5.

As mentioned in the documentation’s release notes:

Xceed Grid for .NET uses the new Xceed.UI.Dll assembly rather than Xceed.Grid.UIStyle.Dll.

To correct the compilation error, the Xceed.Grid.UI.UIStyle.dll assembly must be replaced with the Xceed.UI.dll assembly and “Xceed.Grid.UIStyle” replaced with “Xceed.UI” in the application’s source code.
