    Hi,

    Is there a recommended (or more palatable) way to remove the “Drag a column header here…” pane besides the following:

    myGrid.View.FixedHeaders.RemoveAt(0);

    This seems a bit too brute force and lucky that the one I’m after is in index zero.

    The desired effect is for me to just have the column headers showing with the possibility of styling them later on down the road….

    use this code
    grid.FixedHeaders.Clear();
    DataTemplate template = new DataTemplate();
    template.VisualTree = new FrameworkElementFactory(typeof(ColumnManagerRow));
    grid.View.FixedHeaders.Add(template);
