Is there a set of best practices to get the maximum performance out of this Gird?

    For example:

    Is unbound better than bound?

Are there specific events that, if subscribed to, could cause a “more than normal” performance loss?

Any column types that slow performance?

We do not have specific instructions with our Grid. This will vary too much with the type of Grid you are trying to build. If anyone has suggestions from past experience, please share.

The reason I ask is that I am populating a grid with approx. 15 columns and a max of 70 rows, and it requires some rich formatting. But even before I begin any formatting, things are pretty slow, specifically with scrolling.

I imagine that adding images and formatting to those rows will only make things worse.

    Any suggestions?

Without your code it’s hard to suggest anything. Can you send your inquiry to our support mail box with the code you use to populate the grid?

The issue that motivated this question has been solved.

When running the grid inside of Visual Studio 2005 (in debug or release), there is a significance performance hit. But once the project was compiled into release mode, and run from OUTSIDE of VS, things were wonderful!

Just thought I’d let everyone know.
