Hi,
could someone please help me with this issue: while trying access most of Chart examples from “Xceed Chart Explorer for .NET” I get an error with this huge explanation:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.************** Exception Text **************

—————————————-************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging=”true” />
</configuration>When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.——————————————————————————–
My operating system is Vista Ultimate 64-bit, but I tried, and it works fine on Windows XP with SP2 on the same PC
Thank you for your help

The problem here is that our Chart component uses some unmanaged code (32-bit). If the targeted platform for your project is “Any CPU”, you will likely get the reported error. In this case, you need to change the targeted platform to x86.

Were you ever able to resolve this problem? I am experiencing the same issue.

Oh, and it doesn’t matter what target I build for x86, x64 or Any CPU gives the same problem.

Yes, once I’ve changed the target CPU from AnyCPU to x86 in advanced compiler settings (VB) the problem was gone.
