    Hello,

I have a grid with a modifiable column that has a percent string format

I would like users to be able to write percent numbers directly in the cells

but I can’t figure out how to do that. The cells would not accept the “%”

    char…

    THanks

    Hi Allaume,

What is the data type for that column? If the data type is an integer or any numeric data type, then this behavior is normal. The default CellEditor will not accept these characters. The only other way around this would be to create your own TextEditor. You can refer to the following pages in our online documentation to help you:

    NumericTextEditor

    TextEditor

This is the only other way around it. The CellEditors being used in the Grid depend on its underlying data types. If the data type is a string, then the TextEditor will be used. If the data type is a numeric data type such as an integer, then the CellEditor will be a NumericTextEditor
