    Hi,

I am new here and like to know steps how to use the Xceed DataGrid for WPF, I don’t see the GridControl readily, when I click “Show All” in toolbox, all controls inside the Xceed tab including Xceed GridControl is disabled. I like to know what to do. I like to use this on WPF Windows Application Forms. Please provides steps and codes and links if applicable. Thanks.

You may want to take a look at the sample applications and go from there. They should give you a good idea how things work.

I installed mine in the default location which was “C:\Xceed Component Samples” on Vista.

Also the documentation has a lot of examples sprinkled throughout.

For example the following help page has several data binding examples:

Also keep in mind that the component cannot be used in the designer and therefore will not appear in the toolbox. The Installation Instructions section in the documentation will help you out and like NothingButNet said, looking at the samples is a great way to learn the control.
