Is it possible to select multiple cells in a similar way to Excel or Access where you click in one cell and move the mouse to another cell in a differnt row so that it selects the matrix of cells? Ideally then I would want to be able to copy/paste to/from Excel.

All the selection I have found seems to be based on either selecting a single cell or a single row.

This link is the best I have found so far using Google as I didn’t get any response on this forum.

I was expecting just to set a few properties to enable multiple cell selection (as you can with Infragistics).

Effectively, selection at the “cell” level is not supported by the DataGrid for WPF.

An approach such as Neil’s would be required to have this support.
