    Hi
is the component support Multi Thread operations?
I mean can i zip\unzip same file on several cores\cpu at a time?
Can i select on which core to run the application?

    Please advise

This is not possible. To preserve a zip file integrity, it can only be access by one process at a time.

However, the following <a href=”http://blogs.xceedsoft.com/plantem/SearchView.aspx?q=multi-thread”>blog</a&gt; suggest a way of “preparing” a zip file through several threads at the same time, though the building of the archive itself will be done by one process only.

As for selecting cores, the component does not provide anything to accomplish this. If there are any means to accomplish this, it will be at the OS level, but you will have to look elsewhere to get an answer for that (i.e. Microsoft).
