    Hi,

    Is it possible to add fixed columns in a master/detail datagrid? How does it behave if the master and the detail does’nt use the same columns? Is it possible to specify different fixed columns in the master and the detail (ex : 2 in the master and 5 in the detail…) Is there a scroll bare in each nested group or is the master scroll bare drives every thing?

    Thanks

    Yes, it is possible to specify different FixedColumnCount in master and in the details.

    To achieve this, you can do the following:

    <code>
    <xcdg:DataGridControl>
    <xcdg:DataGridControl.View>
    <xcdg:TableView FixedColumnCount=”2″ />
    </xcdg:DataGridControl.View>
    <xcdg:DataGridControl.DetailConfigurations>
    <xcdg:DetailConfiguration RelationName=”MyDetail” xcdg:TableView.FixedColumnCount=”5″ />
    </xcdg:DataGridControl.DetailConfigurations>
    </xcdg:DataGridControl>
    </code>

    To be noted also, is that the FixedColumnSplitter (the section that is dragged and dropped to change the fixed column count) can be used to achieve the same result.

    As for the scroll bar, there is only one master scroll bar that controls scrolling for all groups and details.
