I’m wondering if there’s a way to invert an axis, in particular the depth axis. It would be really nice to have the oldest date be at the back and the most recent date be at the front without having to destroy the data and create custom axis labels to make it look that way.

    Hi Paul,

After verification with the developer, it is not possible to simply inverse an axis instead of inverting the values of the axis.

However, an alternative could be to build 2 charts one over the other and toggle which one is visible. One would have the values in one order, the other in the reverse order. This way you would only build each chart once instead of having to destroy the data and redo everything each time the user switches the axis.

So I found a property of an Axis’ Ruler object called Inverted that appears to invert an axis. Not where I expected the property to be, but there it is.

    Axis(StandardAxis.Depth).Ruler.Inverted = True
