It looks like when I’m in InsertionRow, the CurrentItem will be null. How can I
    1. Ensure that I’m really in InsertionRow since if the grid hasn’t been selected, CurrentItem will be null as well.
    2. Obtain the handle to InsertionRow.

What I could suggest is placing an event handler on the Loaded event of the InsertionRow and storing the object reference somewhere…

If the InsertionRow is placed in the Headers or Footers, do not forget to clear the reference on the Unloaded event.

You can then check the IsCurrent status on the InsertionRow to determine if the InsertionRow is current.

    Marcus,

Once the new row is added. How can I get a hold of the recently added row though?
