Hi. I’m very new to XCeed (so be gentle).

I Have inherited a C# .net project and have just upgraded its XCeed grid V2.0 to V3.0.

I now find that my data bound grids will not fire their Cell “LeavingEdit” events.

The events were firing correctly in V2.0, has anyone experienced this? If so what was the solution?

The interesting thing is the cell Validation event is being called with an “Invalid Cast” exception.

    Anthony Sanford.

Sounds like there is something wrong in one of the event handle.

I recommend you send the case scenario to our support group.

If you have a code snippet to reproduce the scenario it will help us serve you better.

    Just sorted it out.

It seems the DataTable being used as the source to the grid did not have its data columns set to a specific type and therefore defaulted to DataColumn.

Thats the Validation error I was getting.
