I am using the Xceed Grid which displays data on several data rows, and the sorting fearure on headers works as expected. But the feature I want in the grid is that the first data row (only the first data row) of the grid can stand still whenI click the one of the headers for sorting, and the same time the rest of data rows are sorted. I am wondering that if there is a way to achieve this feature so that the first data row can always stay there as the first data row and the rest of data rows can sort as usual no matter which cloumn header is clicked for sorting.
I would much appreciate it if anyone could help as it is urgent issue for us.
Thanks in advance

The only workaround I can think of is that you could add a ValueRow in the HeaderRows or FixedHeaderRows collection of the GridControl, copy the values of the first row into it, and set the Visible property of this first row to false, so it does not appear twice in the grid.
This way, when you sort, the ValueRow stays on top. You place it in the HeaderRows collection if you want it to be scrollable, in the FixedHeaderRows if not.
