    I want to edit the column header of the grid control. On click of column header cell?

    You can use the ColumnManagerCells to do this.

    e.g.:

        private void Form1_Load( object sender, EventArgs e )
        {
          foreach( ColumnManagerCell cell in columnManagerRow1.Cells )
          {
            cell.Click += new EventHandler( cell_Click );
          }
        }

        void cell_Click( object sender, EventArgs e )
        {
          ColumnManagerCell cell = sender as ColumnManagerCell;
          System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine( cell.FieldName );
        }

    Actually I want to make the column header editable so that user can directly type the name of the column over there.
