    1. I already have a .zip file without password protection. How do I add password protection into an existing .zip file?

    2. Are they the same in the following 2 cases:

    a. Adding each file into a .zip file with password protection on each trip.
    b. Adding all the file into a .zip file, then make that .zip file password protected.

    3. When a .zip file has password protection, can I add more files into that .zip file later on?

    Thanks,
    -Thuyen.

    Hi Thuyen,

You should create a new zip archive that has the password protection, move all the contents from the zip archive without the password protection into it, then delete the older archive upon completion of the process.

You can add files into a zip archive regardless of whether it has a password protection or not.
