We are trying to convert a CMD file that runs a FTP call to .NET using Xceed components, and one of the commands we have to use sets the mode to binary. By running the following line with FTP in a command prompt, it changes mode to binary

    FTP bin

How can I do this with Xceed? Basically, I just need to enter a command, but I don’t see an obvious option with the FTPClient()

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

If you want to change the mode to binary, set the <a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/ftpNet/ref/xceed.ftp.ftpclient.representationtype.html”>RepresentationType</a&gt; property to RepresentationType.Binary

I hope this is the information you were looking for.
