    Hi,

I have a grid in which the background color of the cells are used to convey high-level summary information. This works great, except that the selection, inactive selection, and hot styles cause the background color of certain cells to be cleared.

How do I disable the visual styles, either throughout the grid or on a cell-by-cell basis? I can reset the hot styles’ background color for a given cell, but I haven’t figured out how to do that for the selection and inactive selection styles.

    Thanks,

    Hi Patrick,

You can try setting OverrideUIStyle to True on the grid control, or setting the UIStyle property to Windows.Classic.

    Thanks!

Will that impact more than just the selection style? I generally quite like the style work you guys have done, but need to use colors in my grids consistently.
