I have an ExplorerTaskPane, docked to the top.
    In it I have a single ExplorerTaskPane.Group.
In that group, I’d like to have a series of “sub controls” (which would effectively divide that horizontal pane into thirds):
    – On the left “third”, there’ll be an OptionList tree
    – In the center will be a column of text boxes/dropdown boxes.
    – On the right will be a button the user presses to act on selections from the left and center “controls”.

When adding “tasks” to the Group, they are aligning top to bottom…is there a way to align layout left to right?

This is not possible with the SmartExplorerTaskPane. The SmartToolBar is an option to accomplish this, but it will not reproduce the look of the SmartExplorerTaskPane of course.
