    Hi

    Creating two seperate grids seems to share the same GroupByControl columns

    To confirm the problem I added a new identical grid into the SolidFoundation sample

    Dragging a column to be grouped in 1 grid repeats the change in the other.

    Is there a way to avoid this?

    I notice that setting the checkbox for grouping on or off creates a new GroupByControl via the following code
    FrameworkElementFactory groupByControl = new FrameworkElementFactory( typeof( GroupByControl ) );
    so the problem must be deeper?

    Thanks
    Nigel

    Further to this the sorting on one column als affects the sorting of the same column in the other grid.
    I was able to have the columns display in different a different order though i.e CustomerID followed by Employee in one grid and Employee followed by CustomerID in the other

    Are both your grids bound to the same DataGridCollectionView instance?

    If they are, then, its the intended behavior, since both grids are bound to the same “view”… If not, can you provide further details on how you bind the 2 grids to the data source?
