    Hi,

    Do you know of any exceptions which occur when grouping data, that has now rows?

    I use the following XAML:

    <xcdg:DataGridControl.ItemsSource>
    <d:Binding>
    <d:Binding.Source>
    <CollectionViewSource x:Name=”_CollectionViewSource” Source=”{Binding Source={StaticResource _ListData}, Path=MyItems}”>
    <CollectionViewSource.GroupDescriptions>
    <PropertyGroupDescription PropertyName=”MyItemName”/>
    </CollectionViewSource.GroupDescriptions>
    </CollectionViewSource>
    </d:Binding.Source>
    </d:Binding>
    </xcdg:DataGridControl.ItemsSource>

    My binding source is a dataset, with one datatable in it (“MyItems”). When the table has rows everything works fine (the grouping). When the datatable has no rows I get an exception. If I remove the grouping, then both scenarios (with or without rows) work. Any suggestions? The exception and stack trace follows:

    System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException was unhandled
    Message=”Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.\r\nParameter name: index”
    Source=”mscorlib”

    Never mind – there seems to be some kind of timing issue about when your datasets and tables are created. I have solved my problem.
