I currently have a registered version of Xceed Grid 2.5 and have the need to use a grid in “gradebook” layout. This means that the text in the column headers need to be aligned vertically and at an angle to the right. I’m wondering if this can be accomplished with the 2.5 version or if the 3.0+ versions support this type of layout in the headers.

    Thanks for your help!

I’m not sure if version 2.5 supports this, but in version 3.+, you can derive from the ColumnManagerRow and ColumnManagerCell to do this, and override the PaintForeground to redraw the text as you wish.

    Thanks for the reply, Andre.

I purchased the latest version of the Xceed Ultimate Suite today and am looking forward to implementing what you recommend.

One question: Do you have any samples of what you’re referring to?

    Thanks.

Take the sample application from this <a href=”http://forums.xceed.com/forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3887″>thread</a&gt;, it shows how to do this. Make sure to modify the code for version 3.6 as recommended.
