There are three possible states for a ToolWindow: Docked, Floating, or AutoHide.

When a control is floating you can always check it’s Location property, but when it is Docked or on AutoHide, there isn’t a reliable way to determine it’s docked location (ie top, left, etc).

Talking with Xceed Support, they said that “This is a feature that, although important, did not make the final release.”

Has anyone come up with a reliable way?
