    Can someone tell me if it is possible to add a fixed footer row to a grid? I have a summary row that I have added that sums up a fiield for the entire grid but I can only seem to make this work in the Fixed Header Row of the grid. I would prefer this at the bottom of the grid rather than the top. How can this be done?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    Adding Fixed Rows :

    grid.FixedHeaderRows.Add( new ColumnManagerRow() );
    grid.FixedFooterRows.Add( new TextRow( “Grid Fixed Footer” ) );

    Adding Scrollable Rows :

    grid.HeaderRows.Add( new InsertionRow() );
    grid.FooterRows.Add( new TextRow( “Grid Scrollable Footer” ) );

    Diane, Thanks for the response. Your example has helped a lot as well as the link you provided. However, it seems to be adding a row with one sell. I want to add a row with the number of columns as my grid. Also, in one of the columns I want sum up that column for the entire grid. Hopwfully that makes sence. I will play around with the code and see if I can figure this out while I wait for a response.

     Thanks again,

    Here is a working sample I did :

    // Create a new Summary Row
    SummaryRow summaryRow = new SummaryRow();

    // Add it to the grid
    gridControl.FixedFooterRows.Add( summaryRow );

    // Create a Summary Cell for the column
    SummaryCell cellSumCost = ( SummaryCell )summaryRow.Cells[ “Cost” ];

    // Set up the summary cell
    cellSumCost.StatFieldName =
    “Cost”;
    cellSumCost.StatFunction = Xceed.Grid.
    StatFunction.Sum;
