File Count when using Synchronizer.Synchronize

Is there a way to determine the number of files that will need to be synchronized up front so that I can provide some sort of status as to the amount of work necessary for the full synchronization? I have figured out how to show the status for each individual file already.

This is not possible. It is a feature that is planned to be implemented in a future version, but there has been no decision taken at this point as to when exactly this will be the case.

Is this still a valid answer or is it now possible to get the total count/progress before synchronizing so we can fill a total ProgressBar?
