It would be helpful to have an easy way to add a functional VCR-style record navigation button strip on the bottom of a grid (say a checkbox on the grid Configuration sheet), akin to what you see in SQL Server or MS Access table view.

The button strip looks like this:
    << < Row# > >> >*

    where:
<< is a button for move to the first record
< is a button for move to the preceding record
Row# shows the record number position among all the records (and could also allow user to type in a record number to move to)
    > is a button to move to the next record
    >> is a button to move to the last record.
    >* is a button to add a new row to the grid

    Thanks.

    Additional notes:

    >* (add new button) would be greyed out if records cannot be added (the recordset is read-only etc.).

The << and >> buttons move to the first and last records, respectively, of the recordset that is populating the grid, not just the first and last records that are currently on the screen. These buttons in more recent apps appear this way:
    |< (instead of <<) for move to first.
    >| (instead of >>) for move to last.
