We are using XCeed FTP library v1.0 for so many years. It worked for us for simple ftp transfers (upload and download). Now we have project that requires the ftp program to traverse through ftp folders and check if there are available new files for download, which we check on the DB. The problem with the current ftp library we are using is that if we issue the command getfoldercontents, we are not having problem if the folders in it have no spaces. The problem occurs if it encounters a folder with space(s). Also another issue that we encounter is if there is a folder named FTP Folder Content and another folder named FTP Folder Content Again, the previous folder would be read but on the second folder, it would read the contents of the previous folder.
We are now at the moment evaluating the current XCeed FTP library from your website and still produces the same error?
We are using Visual Studio 2003 (VB.Net)
We hope that this issue would be solve.

We do not reproduce this here, folders with spaces are treated normally. Can you provide a folder structure with a simple code snippet that reproduce the issue, so we can investigate this further?
As for the second issue, do you mean two folders with the same name, or do you mean folder 1 is “FTP Folder Content” and folder 2 is “FTP Folder Content Again”? Can you provide more details?

“FTP Folder Content” contains
“FTP Folder Content Again” contains
When we use the function “GetFolderContents”,that is,
GetFolderContents(“FTP Folder Content Again”,XceedFtpLib.EXFContentsFormat.fcfCollection)
It lists out the contents of “FTP Folder Content” instead of “FTP Folder Content Again”.
We’re using “GetFolderContents” in a recursive process.
Hope you can resolve this issue.

Again, we do not reproduce this issue here. Are you using the latest version (1.1.6461.0)?
Did you try with another client application, to see if this is not caused by the server?
