I’m running across some oddity with disconnecting/reconnecting (in the same application session). I have a multi-line text box to display the output given from the ftp server (similar to the example provided) only, whenever I disconnect then reconnect, the messages repeat themselves. They increase in number of clones as the number of times I disconnect and reconnect increases. Here is a sample output.

I can’t figure out how to clear the message buffer – or an action similar, so that I no longer will get these repeats. Any ideas?

Crap – I accidentially put my server password in there. Can an admin remove that please?? There’s no editing on this forum. 🙁 🙁

I removed your password from your post, but you should probably change it anyway.

About your problem, could it be that you are advising for an event via a delegate, but are not unadvising?
