Is is possible to do cell navigation in a detail grid (i.e. set the current cell, current row, etc.) SingleClickEdit would be nice for detail grids. Is there any way to do this? I did not see anything in the documentation…

Actually, why not make the detail grid class the same as the GridControl class?

When using the CurrentCell and CurrentRow, this will give you the row/cell of the grid where you are, whether it be a detail grid or the master grid.

SingleClickEdit applies to the DetailGrid as well as the master grid.

You must understand that a DetailGrid is not a control, but a grid element, like a cell or a row. Moreover, it has to offer features different from the master grid, for example, having a ParentRow, etc…

Was this the same in 2.5 (the version I am using)?

I get a compile error when trying to reference objDetailGrid.CurrentCell…

You need to use GridControl.CurrentCell. When CurrentCell is on a row in the DetailGrid, it will return that row which pertains to the DetailGrid.
