    Hi
I am using the real time zip component.
I am able to upload a compressed stream to the ftp server.
Now, how do i download a compressed stream ?

The complete scenario is like this:
I am retrieving the file from the database.Compressing the file on ftp side.
On client side, i am using a download stream for download from ftp.
how do i simultaneously write the download stream to a file?

Any sample code would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I’m sure you already took a look at our <a href=”http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/Xceedrtzip/Creating_a_Zip_archive_using_ZipWriter.html”>samples</a&gt;, but it seems like a similar procedure. It uses a stream from a ftp server instead of a FileStream.

You could also use our FileSystem (from our Zip for .NET and FTP for .NET products) to directly copy the data from the server to the other machine.
