    Hi,

    I have a user control that will contain a grid at the top and below will be specific controls that will display key fields from a selected row entry. The data I will display is a custom collection that implements all the required interfaces and I would like to add this to the parent MS Grid layout DataContext so that it can be used by both the grid and the associated controls.

    Is this possible to do with a DataContext or must I use some other technique e.g. Resources?

    Yes, to bind the DataGridControl to its DataContext, you can do this:

    <xcdg:DataGridControl ItemsSource=”{Binding}” />
