    Ok,

    Here is the problem… i have a CustomDataCell class that hookes and on its Values event handler … Value is an object with a NameChanged event …thing is when my grid gets flushed (datasource set to null) my cell continues to get events even though i expect it to be long gone! SO WY ARE MY CELLS STAYING ALIVE??? how can i unhook my event …Cell dont seem to have a dispose mechanism… Please really need help

    In the .NET framework, the only way to get ride of an event, once you have subscribed to it, is to unsubscribe to it. If you don’t, then the object to which the event is linked is never disposed of, since there is still a reference to it. This is why you get this behavior.
