    Hi, I wanted to know if we could use the xceed grid for 1.1 in 3.5. 3.5 provides with a feature to add Windows Form control in 3.5 using “WindowsFormsHost”…Can we use that to add xceed grid to 3.5…If I want to upgrade to 3.5 components of xceed can I use the same license…what would be the renwal charges….

    I am trying to bind xceed  grid to a dataset. Ic an see the data. But I cant see the headers. Can you please let me know what could be the reason. I am trying to use Xceed Grid for .Net 1.1 in 3.5. Below is the code.

     Code

    DataTable

    table = new DataTable(“TestTable”);

    DataColumn column;

    column =

    new DataColumn();

    column.DataType = System.

    Type.GetType(“System.Int32”);

    column.ColumnName =

    “Dosage”;

    table.Columns.Add(column);

    column =

    new DataColumn();

    column.DataType = System.

    Type.GetType(“System.String”);

    column.ColumnName =

    “Drug”;

    table.Columns.Add(column);

    DataSet

    dataSet = new DataSet();

    dataSet.Tables.Add(table);

    DataRow dRow;

    dRow = table.NewRow();

    dRow[

    “Dosage”] = 25;

    dRow[

    “Drug”] = “Indocin”;

    table.Rows.Add(dRow);

    dRow = table.NewRow();

    dRow[

    “Dosage”] = 50;

    dRow[

    “Drug”] = “Enebrel”;

    table.Rows.Add(dRow);

    this

    .xceedGrid1.SetDataBinding(dataSet, “TestTable”);

    Hi,

    About using the latest Grid for .NET build around the .NET 1.1 framework on a .NET 3.5 framework, I can’t see any reason that this wouldn’t work.  Each new .NET framework is a kind of a “superset” of the previous ones.  Normally, all the changes are incremental, never “breaking”.  So if a certain method was supported on the 1.1 .NET framework, it should be supported on the 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 frameworks.

    Our latest .NET components are currently using the .NET 2.0 framework.  They work with every .NET platforms except 1.1.

    In a Grid for .NET, a column have a Title property and this defines the visible column name on the grid.
